A big thank you to Mrs. Irwin, Mrs. Fares, and Mrs. Caldwell for volunteering their time and helping out.

Happy reading to all!!!

Welcome Back!

Welcome back boys and girls! I'm hoping everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas break!
The library is now pleased to offer a junior and a senior book club! The junior book club is for students in grades 3-5, while the senior book club is open to all students in grades 6-8. Each club meets once a month at lunch time on Thursdays.

Each student reads a book of their choice; either from the Canadian Martyr School library, or a book from home. Students are provided with a Book Review Sheet which they fill out and bring to the book club meeting. During the meetings any student is welcomed to share with the rest of the group by telling everyone a little bit about the book. Be sure not to share the ending in case another student wanted to read it! At the end of each meeting, all the completely Book Review Forms go into a draw and a winner is chosen to receive a $5 Chapters Gift Card! The draw is done every meeting, so the more times you come with your completed Book Review Form then more chances you have to win!

Interested in joining the Canadian Martyrs Book Club? Visit Miss Caldwell in the library today for more information today!
